U.N. agencies: World must raise USD 215 million for Palestinians

A dozen U.N. agencies and nine NGOs released a statement on Thursday calling on the international community to raise USD 215 million to support the poorest Palestinians.
The statement stems from the increase in poverty rates in the Palestinian Authority, compared to 2004. The funds will be invested in projects to create jobs, in building infrastructure and in professional training. (Shani Mizrachi)
