Suspected suicide attack injures U.S. soldier, 2 Afghans
A suspected suicide bomber detonated his explosives-packed car near a US military convoy in southern Afghanistan, injuring a U.S. soldier, a woman and a child, officials said.
The attacker was the only fatality in the incident in Kandahar city, the former stronghold of the ousted Taliban regime, Kandahar province governor Assadullah Khalid told AFP on Monday. (AFP)
