A meeting between Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom has ended. The two agreed Shalom will resign his post Friday, and that he will not attend the cabinet meeting on Sunday.
Sources close to Netanyahu and Shalom defined the meeting as positive and said the two reconciled. The party leaders also agreed to appear at the Likud Central Committee meeting together Thursday evening, for the publication of the primaries' results. (Ilan Marciano)
