Bird flu: Poultry poisoning to being Saturday afternoon
The poisoning process of fowl suspected of being infected with bird flu is expected to begin in the next few hours in the southern kibbutzim of Ein Hashlosha and Holit. The extermination will be performed by inserting poison into the poultry's drinking water.
The extermination of fowl in the communities of Nirim and Kissufim will be implemented only after an expected meeting between the regional council head and Health Ministry representatives. (Anat Barshkovsky)
