Israeli navy vessels fire artillery at Gaza
Navy ships fired artillery at the Gaza Strip Wednesday for the first time. Dvora and Shaldag type vessels, which operate routine security measures along the Strip's coast fired shells at Qassam launching sites in Gaza.
Up until now, such attacks were carried out from the ground only. Attacks from sea enable the army to reach areas that were not accessible before. (Hanan Greenberg)
