About 200 angry Pakistanis on Friday circled the house of a man accused of burning a copy of Islam's holy book, and demanded he be killed, until police dispersed their protest, an officer said.
The Muslim protesters accused Abdul Jabbar, a 45-year-old fruit vendor, of black magic and of burning a Quran in a vacant plot near his house in a poor neighborhood of the eastern city of Lahore, said Amir Zulfikar, the city police chief. (AP)
