Edry: Gaza beach explosion was caused by Palestinian bomb

Kadima minister Jacob Edry rejected on Sunday reports in British newspapers that an Israeli shell killed seven members of a Palestinian family on a Gaza beach nine days ago.

"The only shrapnel we possess is not from an IDF shell. It seems to be of a Hamas explosive device," Edry said. Tourism Minister Yitzhak Herzog backed the IDF's probe which cleared Israel of responsibility for the attack. (Ronny Sofer)
