Baking vacation in Jerusalem

As part of the bread exhibit currently on display at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the museum turned the courtyard into a "baker's yard" for the whole family, where visitors are invited to bake, smell and taste.

Concurrently, in the teenager's branch of the museum, is the "Shadows and Shade" exhibit and, as usual in this interactive branch, visitors are able not only to look at art but to also to participate in activities.

And we haven't even started talking about the museum events planned for the summer, including the wine-tasting festival (July 10-13), the kite gala (August 15) and musical productions included in the museum ticket price.

An added bonus, thanks to a special contribution: entrance is free for children on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in July and during the whole of August. Otherwise, the ticket price can be expensive, unless you are eligible for discounts: NIS 41 for an adult, NIS 21 for a child (not including workshops).

Hours: Mondays, Wednesday and Saturdays 10:00-16:00, Tuesdays 16:00-21:00 (opens at 10:00 in August), Thursdays 10:00-21:00, Fridays 10:00-14:00. Closed Sundays.
