Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz expressed their condemnation over "this despicable act of terrorism," referring to the India train bombings, and offered condolences for the loss of life.
A statement released by the Pakistani administration said, "Terrorism is a bane of our times and it must be condemned, rejected and countered effectively and comprehensively." Pakistan and India are neighbors but the two countries share a history of hostile relations. (AP)
