Rockets continue to land on Israeli communities: Katyusha rockets fell Saturday on several northern communities, including Nahariya, Safed and Carmiel.

No casualties or damage were reported in the incidents.

A number of rockets landed west of Moshav Dalton in the western Galilee. A fire broke out at the scene, but it was quickly extinguished by firefighters. A short while later another barrage of Katyushas was fired toward Nahariya; the rockets landed in open areas.

Katyushas were also fired at the Ramim mountain range area, north of Kiryat Shmona between Kibbutz Manara and Kibbutz Yiftah.

Police reported that a Katyusha rocket struck a roof of a house in Carmiel. Magen David Adom sources said a number of people suffered from anxiety, but no injuries were reported in the attack.

A barrage of Katyushas fell on Kibbutz Saar, near the northern entrance to Nahariya; no injuries or damage were reported.

Earlier a few explosions were heard along the eastern section of the Lebanon border, after which Shlomi residents were instructed to enter bomb shelters.

“We received reports of smoke clouds near Hizbullah outposts on the Lebanese side of the border,” Maale Yosef regional council head Avi Karmapa said.

“We still have no exact information on what is going on in the area, but residents reported of gunfire and explosions near the border.”
