Spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Hamid-Reza Asefi, denied that the Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah is hiding in the Iranian embassy in Lebanon, reported the Iranian news agency, Irna.
Asefi also denied what Iranian ambassador to Lebanon said Tuesday in his warning that if Syria is attacked, Iran will aid her. According to Asefi, "The words of the ambassador were not properly understood. It was in reference to diplomatic and humanitarian aid." (David Cohen)
