Ice Cube's PR firm opens Israel office

Charley Levine, formerly CEO of Ruder Finn Israel, will head up the international and Israel offices of 5W Public Relations

TEL AVIV - A long-established Israeli PR professional, who has represented Ehud Olmert, Israel Aircraft Industries, and others, has joined a fast-growing US public relations firm to open offices for it in London and Tel Aviv.

 

Charley Levine, formerly CEO of Ruder Finn Israel, will head up the international and Israel offices of 5W Public Relations, which is headquartered in New York.

 

International operations will focus in Europe on corporate, technology, medical devices/healthcare, gaming and public affairs clients.

 

Charley J. Levine will serve as Managing Director of both 5W Israel and 5W International Operations. Levine, an accomplished communicator in the US before moving to Israel 28 years ago, is a legendary figure in the Israel PR industry.

 

He managed his own company, CLC, for 16 years, before helping create and serving as CEO of Ruder Finn Israel since 1997. Among clients he has managed: General Electric, Bank of America, Al Gore, Ehud Olmert, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Israel Aircraft Industries, Johnson & Johnson, GivenImaging, and Pfizer.

 

“In Israel we’re going to create a totally new model for results-oriented media relations,” Levine said.

“Our decision to open now in Israel, at a time when the country faces external attack, emphasizes our belief in the tremendous economic potential represented by Israel,” said 5W founder Ronn Torossian.

 

5W Public Relations clients include EDS, Evian Bottled Water, NICE Systems, VeriSign, and McDonald’s Corporation. Celebrity clients include NBA star Jalen Rose, Lil’ Kim, Ice Cube, Nick Cannon and producer Scott Storch.
