Iran: 4 Iranian diplomats kidnapped by Israel still alive

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said that the four Iranian diplomats kidnapped, according to Iran, by Israel are alive and their fate is at the top of Iran's diplomatic priorities. He added that the Iranian government is dealing with the issue with great sensitivity and is checking the issue with senior Lebanese officials.
According to Iran, Israel kidnapped the four – two diplomats, a journalist, and a chauffeur – at a Christian militia checkpoint in 1982 in Iran. Israel denies having any connection to the event. (Dudi Cohen)
