CBS: Population of Israel is 7,077,000
On the eve of the Jewish New Year, the Central Bureau of Statistics counted the Israeli population at 7,077,000.
According to the data, 5,368,000 of Israeli residents are Jewish. In the past year about 140,000 babies were born, about 1,000 fewer than last year. (Ynet)
