80,000 Muslim worshipers attend Friday prayers at al-Aqsa
About 80,000 Muslim worshipers attended Friday prayers on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, where police tightened security for fear of disturbances on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter and police chief Moshe Karadi arrived at an operation room set up by the Jerusalem police near the Western Wall to oversee the operation. (Efrat Weiss)
