Ayatollah: IDF actions in Gaza- compensation for Lebanon
Iran's Supreme Spiritual Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that what is happening in Palestine "is aimed to make up for the disgrace Israel has suffered in Lebanon."
The Iranian news agency IRNA has reported that Khamenei added in his Friday sermon that "the Israelis are trying to overthrow the Hamas government because the IDF was disgraced in Lebanon. He has been stuck in the mud and was defeated by a non-military organization with limited resources." (Dudi Cohen)
