Four Muslim baggage handlers of North African origin appealed on Thursday against a French local government decision to bar them from working at Paris's main 'airport because authorities feared they posed a security threat.
Lawyers for the four men said dozens of other Muslims who work at Charles de Gaulle airport north of Paris had also been stripped of passes granting them access to restricted areas, without which they cannot work. (Reuters)
