Israeli UN envoy: Bush needs Mideast achievement
Israel's ambassador to the UN, Danny Gillerman, spoke with Ynet about the US midterm elections: "I think that the President of the United States needs an achievement in the Middle East and he will even increase his involvement in the region over the next two years."
Gillerman also said that "Israel has nothing to worry about. The alliance between Israel and America is a historic one, based on values and cooperation. Whatever the results of the election, Israel will continue to enjoy not only the support of the US but also its strategic partnership." (Roee Mendel)
