Netanyahu calls Tamir's decision 'outrageous'

Opposition Chairman MK Benjamin Netanyahu (Likud) responded harshly to Education Minister Yuli Tamir's decision to add the Green Line to textbook maps. He called the decision "strange and outrageous" and demanded Prime Minister Ehud Olmert cancel the decision.

"Over the years myself and others have been fighting to change the marking on the map so as not to determine the results of future agreements, and now Tamir comes in and decides the marking should include the Arab demands. She might as well include the 1948 borders." (Attila Somfalvi)
