Peretz says 2007 critical in thwarting Iran nuclear program.
Defense Minister Amir Peretz met on Tuesday with British Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett. They discussed various current Middle East defense and political issues and strengthening the relations between the two countries.
On the subject of Iran Peretz said: "We regard 2007 as the decisive year in our political efforts to thwart Iran's nuclear program." (Attila Somfalvi)
