UNESCO calls on Israel to immediately halt Mugrabi Gate construction works

UNESCO has called on Israel to immediately halt construction works taking place in the Mugrabi Gate in Jerusalem, near the Temple Mount, according to a report issued by a special delegation which visited the area last month.

The report criticizes the fact that the works were launched without coordination with the Waqf and Jordanian authorities. (Lilach Shoval)
