Israel says it will continue boycott of PA government, despite new program
Israel will not deal with the new Palestinian government, a government spokeswoman said Saturday, after the Hamas-Fatah coalition laid out its program to parliament.
At the center of the platform is a call for establishing a Palestinian state in lands Israel occupied in the 1967 Mideast War. However, the program falls short of explicit recognition of Israel and affirms that the Palestinians have a right to “all forms” of resistance against occupation. (AP)
