Knesset approves law prohibiting family reunification of Palestinians, Israelis
The Knesset approved a law Wednesday prohibiting family reunification between Palestinians and Israelis.
Due to this new law, Palestinians who have married Israeli’s will not be granted Israeli citizenship. It will also extend to Israeli citizens who have married Syrian, Iranian, Lebanese, and Iraqi citizens. The law will expire in July 2008. (Amnon Meranda)
