Tornadoes sweep through southwestern US
A series of storms, producing at least 13 tornadoes, destroyed buildings and injured at least a dozen people, several critically, in an area of the southwestern US along New Mexico's border with Texas, police said.
The worst damage was reported in the towns of Logan and Clovis, communities about 80 miles (130 kilometers) apart, police said. (AP)
