New York Times building sells for $525 million to Israeli developer

The New York Times building was sold Monday for $525 million to Israeli real estate developer Lev Leviev, according to a published report.

The midtown Manhattan building, owned by Tishman Speyer Properties, has been home to the New York Times Co. since it was built in 1913, but it needs repair, according to the Web site of Crain's New York Business. (AP)
