Peres: ‘Saudi initiative – historical’

“This is the first time the leader of a great Arab nation, Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, decided to support a peace initiative over war strategies” said Vice Premier Shimon Peres Friday.

“This is an historical move. If the Arab parties side with king Abdullah’s proposal, Israel will willingly negotiate with them. This opportunity cannot be missed” said Peres. (Ronny Sofer)
