Knesset committee head faults state comptroller on leaks
The head of the Knesset's Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, MK Menahem Ben-Sasson, has accused State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss of leaking drafts of probes against government officials to the media.
"There are fundamental problems in the comptroller's work. I don't know if he needs to be tried but his behavior is not right," Ben-Sasson said, referring to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's call on the police to probe Lindenstrauss. (Amnon Meranda)
