Palestinian group claims it will attack Lebanese army
Palestinians living in Lebanon's largest refugee camp have said they will form "jihadi groups" to fight alongside an Islamic militant group battling the Lebanese army in another camp in the northern part of the country, according to an Internet statement posted Wednesday.
The statement, which purportedly was released by a group of Palestinian refugees living in the Ein el-Hilweh camp in southern Lebanon, said groups would be formed to fight the army in response to the ongoing battle at the Nahr el-Bared camp outside of Tripoli. (AP)
