Pakistan, Afghanistan to talk with G-8 on anti-Taliban cooperation
Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to attend a meeting of world powers in Europe next week, Germany's foreign minister said Wednesday, amid growing concern that their deteriorating relations are hampering the fight against the Taliban.
Pakistani and Afghan Foreign Ministers Khursheed Kasuri and Rangeen Dadfar Spanta will join their counterparts from the Group of Eight leading industrialized nations near Berlin on May 30, Germany's Frank-Walter Steinmeier said. (AP)
