Peres says president's main priority is political stability
Vice Premier Shimon Peres said the main priority of the president was to ensure the political system was stable.
"I hope I will be able to have a clear voice at home and abroad in order to express the strength of Israel's democracy at a time when it is attacked," Peres said, launching his presidential campaign. (Amnon Meranda)
