Time to negotiate
Ahead of the 40th anniversary of the Six Day War, an Israeli-Palestinian car convoy will circle the Old City calling Olmert to return to the negotiating table
This Saturday, June 2, the "Yes to An Agreement, The Geneva Initiative" will hold an Israeli-Palestinian event which will include a car convoy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and a demonstration at the Mount of Olives overlooking the Old City of Jerusalem.
The Geneva Initiative, focuses on educational and promotional campaigns aimed at preparing public opinion and political leadership to negotiate a solution based on past official negotiations, international resolutions, the Quartet Roadmap, Clinton Parameters, Bush Vision, and the Arab Peace Initiative.
Saturday's event, titled "Olmert, it's time to negotiate," marks the 40th anniversary of the Six Day War will be attended by Israeli and Palestinian parliamentarians, musicians, and authors.
The Israeli convoy will depart at 10:30 am from the Reading Station in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem where it will meet with the Palestinian convoy and, together, circle the Old City.
