Open House: Use police fire engines in gay parade
The Open House organization has filed a petition demanding that the High Court order Israel Police to use its own fire engines during the Jerusalem gay pride parade, which is scheduled to begin at 5 pm.
The group said the march would take place regardless of whether the fire engines were available. Earlier right-wing activists Itamar Ben-Gvir and Yaakov Sternberg filed a petition of their own calling on the court to cancel the strike due to the firefighters’ slow-down strike. (Aviram Zino)
