Iranian parliament officials rejects West's compromise proposal

Alaeddin Boroujerdi, Chairman of the Iranian Parliament Committee for Foreign Policy and National Security, has rejected a proposal that Iran would stop enriching uranium in exchange for the Security Council refraining from imposing additional sanctions on Tehran.
The Iranian news agency IRNA reported that Boroujerdi referred to the proposal as "old" and said that it was not suitable for solving the Iranian nuclear issue. He added that the proposal was acceptable to Tehran in the first place. (Dudi Cohen)
