Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi said Monday that the Italian economy suffered from UN-imposed sanctions on Iran.
"It is known that Italy had big trade ties with this country from the time of the Shah, but after the sanctions trade with Iran collapsed," he said after a meeting with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. (Ronny Sofer)
