Peres: There is a real window of opportunities for peace in Middle East
"A real window of opportunities has been opened now for a diplomatic arrangement in the Middle East," President Shimon Peres said in a meeting with EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana.
"We must not let a minority of a million and a half Palestinians in Gaza determine the future of eight million other Palestinians. Economic cooperation between Jordan, Israel and the Palestinians will create jobs, and together with diplomatic negotiations this is the way to reach an agreement," Peres said. (Ronny Sofer)
