Knesset: Investing with int'l Iran-linked companies forbidden
Opposition leader MK Benjamin Netanyahu's (Likud) bill banning pension, study and provident funds from investing with international companies which trade with Iran, passed its first reading in the Knesset plenum, Wednesday.
"Israel has to set an example for the rest of the world by preventing any investments in Iran…we can demand that other countries refrain trading with Iran only if we demand it of ourselves," said Netanyahu. (Amnon Meranda)
