Israeli company Big shopping centers and a partner will construct a 24,000 square meter (258,336 square feet) shopping center in the southern coastal city of Lepe, close to Seville in Spain.
This is the first international construction project of Big in Spain, and the company will invest, alongside with its equal shares partner, 40 million euro (about $54.5 million) in the new shopping center.
The partners will finance most of this shopping center project with a loan from a foreign financial institution, while 25% of the investment will come from shareholders’ equity.
Big will purchase the land in Spain with an initial 8 million euro ($10.9 million), half of which will be transferred to the partner as a loan.
