The international world-music label Putumayo arrives in Israel. The plan is to launch a collection album of Israeli artists including Mosh Ben-Ari, Idan Reichel, Amal Marcus, David Broza, Teapacks, Moshav Band, Sheva, and Itai Pearl.

Idan Reichel has cooperated with the label for some time; his first album was distributed by them and Reichel's song was included in the "One World, Many Cultures" album.

Putumayo was founded in 1993 and has produced many albums of world music. Since then the label has been involved in various charitable projects including "Make A Wish Foundation" and "Action Against Hunger." Some of the revenues from the Israeli collection will be donated to Israeli organization such as "Latet."

Ahead of the launch of the new album, the participating artists will perform together at the 24 Club on October 14. All revenues of the show will be donated to charity.
