In an exclusive interview published Wednesday in Yedioth Ahronoth, Tamar Yona, wife of fugitive Heftsiba CEO Boaz Yona, spoke about her family's hardship.
Earlier August, it was reported that the construction company was examining the possibility of filing for bankruptcy. Boaz Yona, its CEO, fled the country.

His wife Tamar, who escaped to Europe fearing her creditors, said she had no idea where here husband was.
"When the gray market's creditors started pushing, Boaz realized it was all over… he hasn't contacted me and I'm worried he might harm himself."
Yona co-signed a $2.2 million loan for her husband, taken in Bank Leumi. Her attorney, Yitzhak Ben Menachem, is currently fighting the bank's attempt to have her declared bankrupt, since the Yonas defaulted on the loan.
"He ruined his life, our lives, for the sake of his beloved Heftsiba… My children and I are running out of money. They keep asking me when their father is coming back, when can we go back home, and I don't know what to tell them," she said.
At the request of Israel Police, the Interpol recently issued a warrant
for Boaz Yona's arrest. He was assumed to be hiding in Romania, but his whereabouts are currently unknown.
