Morocco Islamists say "money" blocked poll advance

Morocco's Islamist Justice and Development party (PJD) Saturday accused unnamed opponents of using "money" to win seats in the country's parliamentary election and said this had prevented it from emerging as the single largest party.
"Many candidates used money - we found ourselves in the election campaign facing money instead of political parties. That's why we think that the PJD is the (real) winner of the elections," said PJD leader Saad Eddine Othmani, in a reaction to provision results that put his party in second place. Interior Minister Chakib Benmoussa said the government would examine any evidence of vote-buying. (Reuters)
