Israel in 3D
A new package of CD ROMs containing 500 3D images of Israeli landscapes make the ideal gift
A package of three CD ROMs containing 500 unique 3D photographs of Israeli landscapes is currently hitting the stores under the name of "Israel in 3-DVD." Each CD ROM contains photographs focusing on a single topic: "Israel, a voyage through time," "Israel nature and landscapes," and "Israel weekdays and holy days."
The images appearing on the CD ROMs were taken by two 3D photographers, Hermann Miller from Germany and Franco Gengotti from Italy. Each of the CD ROMs also contains a video clip which depicts images of Israeli landscapes. To see the images properly 3D glasses are required. The picture presentation is accompanied by commentary in Hebrew and other languages.
In general, the presentation without the video may have sufficed as the pictures are still pictures without dynamic movement. However, perhaps due to technical reasons (not everyone has presentation software installed on their computers), or perhaps due to the combination of commentary, the distributors also included the video presentation. Either way, everyone who has seen the images in the 3D presentation stretched their hand towards the screen in an attempt to actually feel the picture.
As seeing the images clearly without 3D glasses is not possible, we are adding a few samples of the images: The first set are in their 3D form (which are a little fuzzy), and then in ordinary picture form which depicts the place as it really is.

If you have 3D glasses, put them on and see them in their 3D form. If not, you can easily make such glasses: Cut out two pieces of cellophane paper, one green or blue (for the right eye), and the second red (for the left eye, stick them to a frame made of Bristol paper and put them on.
