Iranian UN delegate slams Livni's speech

An Iranian UN delegate rejected Foreign Affair Minister Tzipi Livni's comments questioning the relevancy of the United Nations when it failed to take measures against Iran's nuclear program.

The delegate referred to Livni's comments ''absurd distortions and baseless allegations.'' He called on the international community to take ''urgent and decisive action'' over Israel's own nuclear capabilities. (AP)
