Putin meets with Ayatollah Khamenei in Tehran

Russian President Vladimir Putin met on Tuesday evening with Iranian Ayatollah Ali Khamenei before leaving Tehran for Moscow, the Iranian news agency Mehr reported.
During the meeting Khamenei said that "the interest of Russian nation lies in a powerful and influential Iran in international scene." He also said that the United States objects to any country that stands up against their illegitimate interests. (Dudi Cohen)
