Peres meets with Kofi Annan, UN representatives

President Shimon Peres met at his Jerusalem residence with 22 members of a United Nations delegation, headed by former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and Ted Turner.

"The UN must work to reduce the global dependency on oil, which pollutes the world and serves as terrorism's main provider," Peres said during the meeting. (Ronny Sofer)
