Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice said that Israel and the US are interested in getting Syria to attend the Annapolis peace conference after their meeting in Jerusalem Sunday.
The two discussed the option of including Syria in the summit in wake of Rice's recent meeting with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moualem in Turkey where she talked with him about the possibility of Syria taking part in the conference. (Roni Sofer)
