A leading figure in an al-Qaeda affiliate in Algeria has been arrested, Algerian security services said Monday, in the latest blow to the country's main militant force.
Security agents arrested Bouderbala Fateh, also known as Abdelfatah Abou Bassir, along with two colleagues based on a tip received from members of the population, the security service said in a statement. It did not say when or where he was arrested. (AP)
