Bush tells MK Edelstein: I won't force Palestinian terror state on Israel

MK Yuli Edelstein (Likud) met on Monday with US President George Bush. The two met in an event marking International Human Rights Day. The event brought together American Jews who had been persecuted because of their faith.
Edelstein, himself a former Prisoner of Zion, said that Bush assured him that despire the NIE report on the Iranian nuclear weapons program, Washington would continue to oppose the Iranian regime. "As for peace efforts in the region, the president told me that he is not chasing after a Nobel Prize for Peace and that he understands that this is a long drawn-out process.
