White House condemns bomb attacks in Algeria

The White House on Tuesday condemned a car bombing on a UN office in Algeria, saying the attackers were "enemies of humanity."

At least 47 people were killed when two car bombs exploded in upscale districts of Algiers, the bloodiest attack since the 1990s on the capital of the OPEC member state. (Reuters)
