Ayalon: Information system needed in crisis situations

Head of the Knesset's State Control Committee, MK Ami Ayalon, called a committee meeting Monday concerning the establishment of a countrywide system of information distribution during crisis situations.
“We need to be prepared for crisis situations no only militarily and politically, but also with respect to information distribution,” said Ayalon. The government had decided to put together and information systems infrastructure last July, although an investigation by Ayalon's office uncovered that no such system was put in place.
