US national security advisor pledges to aid families of kidnapped soldiers

US National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley met on Thursday with the families of kidnapped Israeli soldiers Gilad Shalit, Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev and pledged he would aid the efforts to secure their return.
Karnit Goldwasser said Hadley appeared determined and promised he would help try to obtain information regarding the fate of her husband and the other soldiers. The families of Zachary Baumel and Yehuda Katz, who have been missing since the 1982 battle of Sultan Yacoub, also participated in the meeting. (Ahiya Raved)
